Toronto and Montreal are among the best places to live, says The Economist
March 17, 2015 - Toronto and Montreal are featured in the top 15 safest cities among those considered in a 2015 index of city rankings compiled by The Economist. Canada’s two largest cities were consistently high performers across all indicators - livability, cost of living, business environment, food security, and democracy – and ranked first and second overall as the best cities in which to live.
Though other Canadian cities such as Vancouver, Calgary and Ottawa were not among those considered, they would likely have also ranked highly.
