Scholarship opportunities for Canadians in OAS member states
January 25, 2024 – The Organization of American States (OAS) has launched its 2024 Academic Scholarships Program.
The program offers scholarships for study or research, at the Master’s or PhD level, leading to a degree from a university in an OAS member state .
Canadian citizens and permanent residents are eligible to apply. Each year, the OAS will award at least one scholarship to Canadians for study or research. The scholarship is tenable for one academic year, which must begin between January 2024 and December 2024.
- Funding organization: Organization of American States (OAS)
- Target audiences: Canadian citizens or permanent residents
- Duration: one (1) academic year, with a possibility to renew the scholarship once for a total of two (2) academic years
- Value: USD 10,000 (maximum) per academic year
- Inclusions: Airfare, tuition fees, mandatory expenses, monthly allowance, medical insurance and annual book allowance
- Deadline: March 12, 2024
