Upcoming deadlines for Erasmus+ 2024 programs
January 30, 2024 – There are several upcoming deadlines for the 2024 Erasmus+ Call for applications. Erasmus+ is the European Union's program to support education, training, youth, and sport in Europe. It also provides opportunities for individuals and organizations from partner countries, including Canada, to engage in a range of collaborative projects and mobility activities.

- Target audiences: Post-secondary institutions in Canada (especially those with existing partnerships with European institutions)
- Deadline: various (see below)
Key Deadlines for Erasmus+ 2024:
- Jean Monnet Actions (JMA): supports academic teaching and research (Chairs, Modules and Centres of Excellence), cooperation projects, conferences and publications in the field of EU studies. Canadian institutions can apply themselves. Deadline is 1 February 2024.
- Erasmus Mundus Joint Masters (EMJM): under key action 2, EMJM supports high-level integrated transnational study programmes at Master level delivered by an international consortium of higher education institutions (HEIs) from different countries worldwide. Any member within the consortium can apply. Deadline is 15 February 2024.
- Erasmus Mundus Design Measures (EMDM): under key action 2, EMDM encourages the development and design of new, innovative joint master programs in under-represented areas (countries, institutions, thematic areas). Canadian institutions can apply themselves. Deadline is 15 February 2024.
- International Credit Mobility (ICM): under key action 1, ICM allows inbound and outbound mobility for students and staff at post-secondary institutions for studies, research, teaching, and traineeships. Please note that you must work with your partner institution in the EU, as they must submit the application. Deadline is 20 February 2024.
- Virtual exchanges in higher education and youth: under key action 1, it allows projects consisting of online people-to-people activities that promote intercultural dialogue and soft skills development. Please note that you must work with your partner institution in the EU, as they must submit the application. Deadline is 25 April 2024.
