Mexican Government Call for Projects from Canadian Indigenous Academic Groups 2024
July 4, 2024 – The Government of Mexico, through the Mexican Agency for International Development Cooperation (AMEXICID), has launched a call for applications for the 2024 Mexican Government Call for Projects from Canadian Indigenous Academic Groups.
The program offers 12 scholarships for 8 students and 4 academics from Canada, belonging to any of the Canadian indigenous Inuit, Métis or First Nations communities, who wish to pursue undergraduate (last semester) and graduate studies in Mexico. The academic groups must be formed into groups of one (1) academic and two (2) students maximum.
Preference will be given to academic groups whose members have not previously received academic support from the Government of Mexico.
- Funding organization: AMEXCID
- Duration: 2 to 4 weeks
- Target audiences: Indigenous students from Inuit, Métis or First Nations communities and an accompanying faculty member
- Inclusions: Round air ticket (Canada-Mexico-Canada), Ground and/or air transportation to the receiving educational institution, and a stipend of $13,202 pesos
- Deadline: August 15, 2024 at 18:00 Central Mexico Time
