"Receiving the Study in Canada scholarship from Global Affairs Canada was an incredible opportunity that greatly contributed to my academic and professional growth. Thanks to this fellowship, I was able to conduct my doctoral research in the Healthy Development Laboratory of Dr. Caroline Temcheff, an experienced and respected researcher in her field, in the Department of Educational and Counselling Psychology at McGill University.
Dr. Temcheff and her team provided invaluable support throughout my time in the lab. Their insights and encouragement helped me develop my research skills and broaden my academic perspective. Thanks to this scholarship, I had the opportunity to collaborate with them on three presentations, which strengthened my academic communication skills and deepened my understanding of the subject.
Beyond research, my time in Canada allowed me to experience its rich culture and observe its education system firsthand. The academic environment at McGill was dynamic and inspiring, providing me with the chance to engage with scholars from diverse backgrounds. These interactions expanded my perspectives and enriched my learning experience.
This experience has been a significant milestone in my academic journey, and I am confident that it will continue to shape my future research and career."
